This concrete luge track in the Vercors was built for the 1968 Grenoble Winter Olympics. Building it took about 1,800 cubic metres of concrete and 1,400 of earth, and 132 sodium lamps lit the course. It remained in use into the late 1980s. The lower section later became a summer luge run, giving part of the Olympic course a new use.
- 132 sodium lamps lit the course.
- All three Olympic luge events of 1968 were decided here.
Today
The track still exists but is unused, apart from a small summer toboggan run on its lower section.
