The luge track on Góra Parkowa, the park hill of the spa town of Krynica-Zdrój, is known as the cradle of Polish luge. It opened at the end of the 1920s, hosted the European Championships in 1935, and staged the luge World Championships in 1958 and 1962. Work on a refrigerated track began in 2008 but was blocked amid fears for the spa's mineral water, and the town now wants a new track on the Iwonka slope.
- It hosted the luge World Championships twice, in 1958 and 1962.
- Fears for the spa's mineral water stopped a concrete rebuild.
